Paul A. Francis


Since graduating with Honors from Leeds College of Music, Paul has embarked on a career both as a session player (performing and recording nationally and internationally with world-renowned musicians), and as an educator at all levels. Paul has extensive performance experience in a range of musical styles including Jazz, Pop, Funk, Reggae, Rock and Classical, and in recent years he has shared the stage with several mainstream acts, performing at festivals and major venues both in the UK and Europe.

As an educator Paul has an established private practice, and has also held several teaching posts within state, private and further education, alongside leading arts workshops both nationally and internationally. Paul also has credits as an arranger and composer and his most recent work 'Concept - Drum & Bass - For Tomorrow's Rhythm Section' and 'Concept - Grooves for Guitar', is aimed at graduate level popular music performance, and is available to download.

Sion Littledyke


The author of Coda Tuition's teaching syllabus is Sion Littledyke, a 1st class graduate of Leeds University (music), with 15 years tuition experience. He has a successful private teaching practice (guitar and bass), and regularly delivers the Rockschool and RGT syllabi up to grade 8, and has also worked for Leeds, Leicester, Kirkless and Wakefield music services.

Sion has also worked for Access to Music at centres in Hull, Bridlington and Leicester, during which time set up a pre-foundation course aimed at encouraging failing students back into education. Sion also provides GCSE, A level and BTEC support, with several students having progressed onto HE courses at Leeds College of Music and the universities of Leeds and Huddersfield.

Sion is also the founder of Coda Productions, a composition and production company with broadcast credits. He has completed commissions in a range of areas including: TV title credits, film, documentary and animation scores, dance theatre, corporate projects and library music.

Sion regularly performs nationally with several bands on guitar and bass, and gigs have included Download, Guilfest and Mathew St Festivals as well as tours in France and Germany.
